Denmark SSI report week 2021-51
Graphing Danish Statens Serum Institut weekly Breakthrough Infections and Vaccine Efficacy reports
Previous posts in series: #49
This series graphs COVID-19 “vaccine” efficacy in Denmark using the Danish Statens Serum Institut’s semi-regular Gennembruds-infektioner og vaccineeffectivitet report including the agency’s own efficacy estimates and confidence intervals. The whole body of SSI reports can be found in their Arkiv. This post updates the graphs to include data from the SSI report for week 51.
Context Graphs
The context graphs show the course of the epidemic in Denmark during the period covered by the SSI reports. In the first graph directly below, you can see the Danish booster campaign getting underway as of week 45. It is interesting to note, given Denmark has a higher rate of double-injectedness than the UK, that the slope of the Danish booster graph is quite a bit more gradual than the UK’s.
The next two graphs show total “cases” (left) and hospitalizations (right) in Denmark classified by vaccine injection status. The black line represents “purebloods” or those too stubborn and selfish to receive the completely Scientific and Morally Virtuous injectable products. We see “cases” for injected people absolutely skyrocketing this week. Meanwhile, hospitalizations are behaving somewhat oddly as for the first time since week 41 hospitalizations of two-dose injectees are not tracking “cases”.
Efficacy Graphs
In all the graphs below the plotted efficacy percentages are taken directly from the SSI reports. The line represents the estimate while the shaded area represents the 95% confidence interval. The x-axis is report week, the y-axis is efficacy percentage and currently extends from -40% to 100%. These data are only available from week 41 onward and some of the booster and Moderna data only from later weeks. I apologize that in some of the graphs the titles obscure the line a bit. This annoyance should pay off in future weeks as the graphs will be comparable week over week, and the efficacy numbers will drop.

Miscellaneous Callouts
We all tend to bang on about the miraculous mRNA injectable pharmaceutical products, not only because they are so Very Scientific (also Safe and Effective); not only because in practice their vaunted efficacy fades very rapidly and eventually goes negative; but also because the corporations hawking mRNA injections were manifestly more successful in getting gullible and officious bureaucrats to buy their concoctions. The non-mRNA products, being a relatively small proportion of total experimental injections delivered, receive less scrutiny.
So it is interesting to learn from Table 2 of the SSI report just how badly the non-mRNA health infusions perform in preventing infection from COVID-19. Johnson & Johnson’s Janssen product, in particular, is terrible: of people getting fully injected with Janssen, 17% of them (almost 1 in 5) have subsequently tested positive for the coof. So far!
